Beginning January 1, 2011, Medicaid will no longer cover prescription drug co-pays for individuals on Medicare Part D. Patients will be charged co-pays of $1.10 for generic medications and $3.30 for brand name medications.
For those with only Medicaid prescription coverage, there are no changes.
