The ever-growing complexity of billing medical equipment has prompted a change at Sid’s Professional Pharmacy. Effective July 15th, Northern Medical Systems assumed responsibility for providing and billing medical equipment to Sid’s Pharmacy customers. They are located in our Bishop Blvd store in our existing medical equipment office, so customers will have the same convenient access as before. In addition, Northern Medical offers a wider variety of medical equipment – including power chairs, hospital beds and oxygen.

Northern Medical Systems owner Tim Holmes has three medical equipment stores. He closed his Colfax branch (formerly Deakin’s) with this move to Pullman and also has branches in Colville and Newport. We’re excited about this partnership and Tim and his staff look forward to serving you.

When you have a prescription medication that you no longer need, you can now dispose of it safely through a program sponsored by the Pullman Police Department. By using the secure medication drop box in the PPD lobby your discarded drugs will be incinerated at a facility approved by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington Department of Ecology. According to state law, the medications must be transported in the containers with the original labels attatched. The labeling can be removed at the police department or the drugs can be placed in plastic zipper bags provided by the department. For more information contact the Pullman Police Department
